FREE 2 DAY BOATING SAFETY COURSE

This Boating Safety Training Course, called “BOAT MASSACHUSETTS" addresses fundamental safety concepts and emphasizes the operator’s legal and ethical responsibilities. 

It targets the boating novice, especially young boaters (12 through 15 years of age), who are required by state law to complete such a course in order to operate a motorboat without adult supervision.

The course is being sponsored by The Boston Yacht Club in conjunction with the Eastern Yacht Club, Corinthian Yacht Club, Marblehead Yacht Club, Dolphin Yacht Club, Jubilee Yacht Club, Salem Willows Yacht Club, Palmer Cove Yacht Club and with the support of the Marblehead & Salem Harbormasters.

• Instructor: Captain Bion Pike, Manchester Harbormaster & Certified Mass Environmental Police Instructor

• Location: Eastern Yacht Club Sailing Center.
